Common questions before booking
Is the call free?
Yes. Discovery only. No card, no contract, no follow-up campaign. If we are not a fit, you walk away with a clean scope and we move on.
Who should be on the call?
HR Business Partner or Learning & Development lead. Add the line manager if the case is for one specific role. We do not need the learners themselves on the discovery.
What do I need to prepare?
Nothing formal. A rough number of learners, a rough budget range and the trigger event are enough. We bring every other question.
What happens after the call?
A short written scope, including a price range and a recommended programme structure. No commitment. Most of our clients take a week to circulate it internally before deciding.
Time-boxed, no padding
Working days, single-page scope
One learner, one coach, no rotation
What you walk away with
A short scope document
Within two working days of the discovery call you receive a one-page scope document. Cohort size, target CEFR levels, intensity per week, suggested duration, key risks, named coach if we have one in mind. The document is in English by default; we send a German version on request. It is short on purpose so you can paste it into your internal sourcing system without rewriting.
A price band
Not a single number. A band, because the right number depends on choices that are not yet made (one-to-one or group, weekly intensity, duration). The band has three tiers (lean, recommended, intensive) so you can model the budget conversation internally before we talk again. We do not change the band after the fact.
A recommended start date
We name a concrete start month. The recommendation is based on coach availability, our backlog and the realistic time we need for assessment. If you want to start earlier, we say so honestly. If we cannot start earlier, we say that too. There is no fake scarcity. Most engagements start within four to six weeks of the discovery call.
A clean no-fit answer if applicable
About one in three discovery calls ends with us recommending a different vendor, a self-paced route or a different format. The reasons are concrete: budget mismatch, level mismatch, geography we do not cover, format we do not run. You receive that answer in writing within two working days, with a named alternative where we have one. We would rather send a useful no than start a programme that will churn.
